Torque overload protection for indirect drives in packaging and filling equipment
ENEMAC safety couplings( torque limiters) protect indirect drive systems in packaging and filling machinery where torque is transmitted via belt, gear or chain drives. In the event of an overload, they mechanically disengage the drive and driven side within milliseconds, preventing damage to motors, gearboxes and other drivetrain components.
The couplings ensure backlash-free torque transmission, high power density, compact dimensions and infinitely adjustable disengagement torques. Automatic 360 ° synchronous reengagement minimizes downtime and increases machine availability.

Corrosion-protected versions feature nitrocarburized or gasnitrided, oxidized components, coated disc springs and stainlesssteel ball bearings for use in humid or aggressive environments. Stainless steel versions made from A2 and A4 grades are available for hygienic applications.
