Akona Process Solutions returns to PPMA with complete powder handling expertise
Akona Process Solutions will return to the PPMA Show 2026, bringing together the expertise of its four specialist brands- Cablevey, Kason, Marion and Spiroflow- on Stand B76 to showcase complete powder handling and material processing solutions.
Visitors will be able to see equipment from across the Akona portfolio, including a Cablevey tubular drag conveyor, Kason Centri-Sifter centrifugal screener, Spiroflow flexible screw conveyor and sack tip station, and Marion horizontal mixer. Together, the technologies demonstrate how conveying, screening, mixing and bulk material handling can be combined to improve product quality, minimise waste and increase production efficiency.

Paramount Mini-System provides efficient automated waste handling
Paramount Mini-System waste handling solutions were originally developed for small printing companies but are now attracting interest across multiple industries seeking cleaner, tidier factory floors and automated waste removal.
Systems can incorporate three key technologies: blower fans for cost-effective conveying of smaller waste; Venturi systems for continuous trim removal; and chopper fans for larger materials requiring size reduction.
A recent automotive installation demonstrates the system’ s versatility. Paramount designed a solution incorporating a blower fan, pickup hood, conveyor, ducting and dissipator. Waste packaging from three robotic assembly stations is automatically transported by high-velocity airflow to a collection bin.
Careful calculation of airflow, velocity and motor size ensures reliable performance while minimising energy consumption, operating costs and noise.
