The Sulzer Academy announces new open seminar : Pumps in Theory and Practice
Continuing its mission to educate and support wider industry , The Sulzer Academy has opened registration for its latest 2-day seminar : Pumps in Theory and Practice . Taking place in German on July 25 2023 at 08:30 CEST at Sulzer ’ s Bruchsal and Mannheim facilities , the event will explore how operators can safely improve the reliability , profitability and availability of centrifugal pumps operating at their facilities .

The Sulzer Academy offers online and in-person training courses to educate employees in operations , service and workshop departments who work with centrifugal pumps and systems . Pumps in Theory and Practice will cover key topics such as the hydraulic basics of centrifugal pumps , operation and maintenance principles , the causes of pump damage and how to avoid them as well as the basics of mechanical seals .
Pump theory on day 1 is supplemented with hands-on practical sessions using
