Patterson & Rothwell are injection moulders based in Oldham in the Northwest , providing state of the art injection moulding and toolmaking facilities . Specialists in partnering with companies to supply trade moulding work and bring new products to market .
With a fleet of over 70 injection moulding machines ranging from 30 to 1,100 ton housed in a purpose constructed 130,000 sq ft facility on a 7 acre site , 180 employees and > 500T of polymer processed monthly , they offer customers a completely flexible injection moulding solution . Their toolroom commissions over 80 injection mould tools every year and their engineering department works tirelessly on adding automation for projects where manual labour is deemed unsuitable according to their health and safety policies .
Supplying products into a wide range of industry sectors including electrical , healthcare , horticultural , food & beverage , windows and roofing . Due to the diversity of their product range , P & R have recently introduced a dedicated assembly area extending their capabilities to their customer ’ s requirements .
Their business is well invested , profitable and their owners continue to invest ; 6 new moulding machines were added in 2012 / 2022 and a further 3 in Q1 of 2023 . Their continuing strategy is to invest in and grow their own product ranges , to continue to partner with entrepreneurs / start-ups to bring new products to market and to continue to supply ‘ good ’ trade moulding work ( high-growth / attractive markets ).
They provide both large and small scale plastic parts , either from supplied specifications or alternatively they offer the complete manufacturing solution including design , prototyping , tooling and moulding . They offer customers a professional yet flexible approach providing attention to detail at every stage .

areas to reduce their carbon footprint and work towards net zero .
