Silverson Machines at the PPMA show 2022
This year Silverson Machines will be on stand E52 at the PPMA show . On the stand will be a range of high shear mixing equipment , from smaller-scale Laboratory mixers to full scale production mixers such as the Flashmix high speed powder / liquid mixer .
As well as the Flashmix , this year visitors to the stand will be able to see working examples of the Silverson Batch , Bottom Entry , Ultramix and Laboratory mixers including the Verso-UHS-HV .
The Verso-UHS-HV is a bench top In-Line mixer designed for mixing high viscosity products . It incorporates the same unique and innovative ‘ pumping rotor ’ design as the production scale UHS-HV In-Line mixers . This substantially increases its selfpumping capacity , allowing it to process products such as gels , creams , sauces and gum solutions on a laboratory scale .
A conversion kit is available allowing the Verso-UHS-HV to be configured as an FMX5 Powder / Liquid mixer . output uniformly throughout the vessel . This is ideal for high-viscosity cosmetic , pharmaceutical and food products .
The Silverson Ultramix will also be running on the stand , this mixer is ideal for rapidly wetting out powders including gums and thickeners . The vigorous mixing action is capable of moving the entire contents of vessels even in difficult shaped containers .

The FMX5 is a laboratory scale version of the Silverson Flashmix powder / liquid mixer and provides a simple , effective and hygienic means of powder / liquid mixing . The unit is suitable for small scale manufacturing and R & D work with a typical batch size of up to 10 litres , depending on viscosity .
