long calibration intervals , and an expected operational life of three to five years with very little user intervention . While not able to perform measurements in a hard vacuum or a pressurized gas environment , the construction of the zirconia sensor will not be damaged if exposed to these conditions .
The zirconia sensor also has low crosssensitivity to other gases and is not position or orientation sensitive . This rugged measurement technology enables a wide range of measurement applications in many industries .
ELECTROCHEMICAL SENSOR TECHNOLOGY
The electrochemical sensor performs measurements at ambient temperatures enabling oxygen measurements in combustible gases such as Hydrogen or a process gas containing hydrocarbons . The low power requirement of the electrochemical sensor enables low power and loop-powered instrumentation to be used making for easier integration in to control systems . In the absence of oxygen there is no output from the electrochemical sensor , meaning only one calibration is required .
EASE OF INTEGRATION AND LOW MAINTENANCE
The choice of KF-40 flange or flow through block for the process connection enables easy mechanical integration either at the point of measurement . The flow through block can also be specified with an orifice in the inlet port to ensure the correct pressure and flow over the sensor .
The SenzTx is a self-contained calibrated transmitter . The transmitter offers a choice of analog and digital outputs through a single electrical connector and no additional signal processing is required to achieve an accurate measurement .
The compact size of the transmitter further enhances the ease of integration and installation .
