With claims that their new X 3 Roller Chain lasts three times longer than similar competitor chain , Donghua Limited shares their latest innovation .
X 3 is a new high performance Roller Chain which forms part of the Donghua Chain Group ’ s Premium range . It is aimed at sectors that use high demand drives such as Timber , Waste & Recycling and Mining & Quarrying .
The new chain is designed and manufactured by the Hangzhou Donghua Chain Group on a purpose-built production line which uses new production techniques and new surface treatments .

New technologies make higher precision stamping possible , maximising the quality of the X 3 Chain . The high plate load limit is ensured by selecting high performance material and subjecting it to isothermal heat treatment , using calibrated pin and bushing holes , and having an improved press fit between the pins and plates to guarantee maximum fatigue strength . The use of new hardening technologies and special anti-friction coating technology on the pin surface minimises the friction coefficient between the pin and the bushing , resulting in extreme wear resistance .
The X 3 Chain has been tested against similar competitor chain and has a longer service life , higher fatigue resistance and greater precision .
The new X 3 Chain is available in sizes in 06B to 24B ex-stock from Donghua Limited and is distributed to our growing UK network of Approved Product Partners and Stockists .
