Temperature control for dyno testing of EV components
Electrical Vehicle bench tests demand wide temperature ranges and JULABO temperature control systems replicate coolant lines to provide precise simulation of real-life conditions .
A PRESTO A45 ( -45 ° C to 250 ° C ) with a flow meter / fluid bypass maintains temperature of the test bed while simultaneously regulating the flow rate of the fluid .
A typical testing requirement for the test bed is to hold 65 ° C with the component under different load conditions . At idle the PRESTO A45 can maintain 65 ° C with 30 % ( 1.8 kW ) power in a series of steps up to a full load test , the component requires cooling at 3-4 % ( 0.14 kW ) cooling input to remove heat generated .

CTL Continuously Tunable Laser family : Measurements at the quantum limit
Lasers of TOPTICA ’ s CTL product family are made to be ideal tools for exciting microcavities or quantum dots , for pumping micro combs , as well as for component testing and spectroscopy . Their most important property is providing wide and continuous tunability without any modehops . They have high power , a narrow linewidth and low drift . The latest addition to this family is called CTL 900 . It is tunable between 880nm and 950nm . The long-awaited wavelength range is especially useful for resonantly exciting quantum dots , for spectroscopy or addressing e . g . rare earth ions or the Caesium D1 line .
