2022 is a special year for Tom Parker Ltd as they are celebrating their 50th anniversary . The whole team , across their Preston Northwest HQ and Southern Basingstoke branch , are immensely proud to remain an independent family business , and of earning and maintaining their place as one of the leading fluid power distribution companies in the UK .
Their 50th anniversary catalogue includes 36,000 product lines of which 1400 are new ranges . New brands include Holmbury Hydraulics , Sharkbite from John Guest , NuAir , Oetiker Expertainer Clamps & Kits , plus more than 80 core and market leading brands such as CPC , Cejn , CDC Pneumatic , Master Pneumatic , EMC , Sicomat , FasTest , Camozzi , Festo , Aignep , John Guest , Fitok , Rotoflux & Werther Compressors .
COMPANY HISTORY
Tom Parker first established the business in 1972 , to distribute the innovative quick connect couplings by Cejn of Sweden to the UK pneumatic and hydraulic market . Tom Parker Ltd went from strength to strength , soon acquiring the UK distribution rights for products from American connection specialists CPC – Colder Products Company ; both of whom the company are proud to work with to this day .
In 1999 Tom Parker Ltd started to produce product catalogues aimed at distribution , OEM and end users : building up a wide resale network spanning the UK . Many of these companies have the Tom Parker catalogue personalised with their company details along with the option to have a clone or fully bespoke website .
