Kistler launch a new , compact version of its NCFT joining module
Kistler has developed a new version of its well proven NCFT joining module with the stroke length increased from 100mm to 250 mm whilst reducing the overall length of the unit from 548mm to 482mm . This has been achieved by moving the drive motor from the end of the module to the side . In all other regards , the new compact version retains all of the capability of the original , straight version . The compact mechanism , integral piezoelectric force monitoring in the spindle and two predefined measuring ranges from 0.05 kN to 1.5 kN make both the straight and angular modules ideal for use in assembly and joining processes monitored by forcevs-displacement . Both types have a robust housing with an integral piezoelectric tension / compression force sensor and an absolute encoder .
