Environmental Technology
Argent Energy is one of the leading Biodiesel manufactures in Europe and the UK . Over the last 4 years they have been working together with Wehrle to develop and improve their carbon and water footprints . This has resulted in the installation of a Wehrle MBR and RO water Recycling Plant at their site in Stanlow ( UK ).
The plant treats the effluent streams produced from the biodiesel manufacturing process and the recycled water now offsets their towns water usage , resulting in savings of half a million ( GBP ) per year . This success now defines Argent ’ s long term road map for becoming an even more sustainable producer .
