This highly compact Mk3 low-field time-domain NMR relaxation spectrometer provides physical information on liquid and solid samples in the lab and in the field , at a size , cost and complexity typically 1 / 10th to 1 / 100th of that of typical high-field chemical NMR systems , while still giving results on properties which are variously described as mobility , dynamics , stiffness , viscosity or rigidity . The signal-to noise is excellent , it uses digital R . F processing for high long-term stability . This spectrometer is robust and compact enough for use in the field . It has a 3D printed solid metal case , gold flashed , and weighs just under 1kg .
A Peltier thermo-electrically cooled variabletemperature probe is available , that precisely controls temperature from -35C to + 80C , with additional gas-assist available down to -80C .
