Reduce the risk of lightning hazards with a lightning warning system
Measures can be taken to reduce the risk of getting struck by lightning . Biral now offers its BTD- 200 , a self-contained , standalone lightning warning system so that petrochemical plants , mining operations and other large scale manufacturers can take precautions to prevent exposure to lightning and ensure both process and outside workers ’ safety .
The system is a modular and designed to operate out-of-the-box . The system comprises of a professional grade lightning detector connected to a PC running the supplied Lightning Works software . Users view the lightning in real-time on a local map whilst displaying the urgent lightning alarm levels .
