Lojer Components Heaters are typically but not solely used in sealing , melting and moulding applications . These cartridges are precision made ( Machining Code H7 ) for a better fit , which allows for an improved heat transfer , reliability and a much longer life . There is a very wide range of cable and mounting options available , including many standard flanges and screw plug variants . These can rapidly be combined to meet the exact specification of the cartridge required , including any diameter required ( upto 32 mm ) and the specified length , in just a matter of days using the express production service .
OPTIONAL EXTRAS include :
• For Precise Control Internal Temperature Sensors
• Active & Inactive ( Cold ) Zones placed in specific sections of the cartridge , for example to allow a protrusion outside the tool for ease of maintenance
• The Heating Coil wire can be specially wound to distribute a higher wattage at the ends of the cartridge i . e . to compensate for the cooler exposed ends of a bar where heat loss occurs
• An IP65 Water Resistance can be achieved with an internal Teflon disc to seal within
the cartridge and Teflon coated wire within a flexible silicon sleeve covering where regular cleaning is required
• Any Voltage or Wattage can be supplied , subject to a maximum Watts / Sq . cm
• A variety of wire insulations include silicon , Teflon and Fiber Glass upto 1000C with sleeves of silicon tube , twisted mesh and armoured stainless steel
