Glass from a first edge grinding station arrive on transport rollers and are instantly lifted clear as arms extend through from below so the next lite in line can already start its approach while those arms are pivoting away . At the end of the turn the arms duck back underneath , passing between transport belts as they set the glass down to drive away to the next station . Return is at high speed underneath both conveyors .
