New Flow / Conductivity instrument
The new Starflow QSD range of open channel flow instruments are used in clean and wastewater monitoring . These have an optional conductivity sensor that makes it easy to identify pollution events in final effluent discharge channels with just one device . The QSD can be installed in pipes , culverts or natural streams without the need for weirs or flumes to calculate flow .
The Starflow QSD comes either as a standalone instrument with SDI-12 or Modbus outputs , or as part of an integrated datalogger system that computes flow and connects by cellular , satellite or ethernet networks as an IOT device .
There is also an optional Starflow Process Display Instrument that monitors depth , velocity , flow , temperature and conductivity . Outputs include Modbus , 4-20mA and pulse for local control .
