Denso 003 press release March 2020 Steelcoat™ System Replaces Failing Pipebridge Protection Winn & Coales (Denso) Ltd’s Steelcoat 100/400™ system was recently employed to protect a pipebridge in Stoke- on-Trent where the previous bitumen-based coating was beginning to show signs of failure. CPC Civils selected the Steelcoat 100/400 system for the protection of 40 metres of 680 mm diameter pipe and 16 flanged joints, with Frazer Civils of Wednesbury supplying the material for the project. The entire area to be protected was wire brushed to remove loose pieces of the old coating before the new Steelcoat system was applied. Winn & Coales provided on-site training and returned to site twice to check on the projects progress, with three operatives completing the entire application in just one week.
