management The Rotork Client Support
Programme (CSP) has been chosen by the
Hengyuan Refining Company Berhad for the
asset management of Rotork valve actuation
equipment at its Port Dickson refinery.
The CSP is designed to meet the company’s
specific needs, encompassing 157 Rotork
electric actuators, a Rotork Master Station
and Pakscan control loop testing facility.
The Rotork CSP can increase reliability and
availability of actuator and control products
via predictive maintenance and asset
management. This includes equipment checks,
replacement of worn components and partial
or complete overhauls at specific periods. CSP
clients have 24/7 access to Rotork Support
Centres, with prioritised technical assistance
backed by comprehensive resources.

3M, the science-based technology company,
has added a 10” filter cartridge and housing
(referred to collectively as a filter system)
to its High Flow Filter System range,
extending its capability to lower process
flow applications, including modular water
treatment systems and filling lines. The
new High Flow 10” Filter Cartridge from 3M
uses the same proprietary high efficiency
polypropylene microfibre filter media as the
existing 40” and 60” length versions. The
compound radial pleat structure and large
diameter core offers the same significant
advantages: high flow rates per filter
cartridge in a compact design, allowing fast
and easy filter change-outs. Looking for safe and robust manual
diaphragm valves for use in sterile or hygienic
applications? The GEMÜ 653/654 BioStar
diaphragm valve has a stainless-steel bonnet
and is available in two versions. The GEMÜ
653 with high temperature plastic handwheel
and the 654 with a stainless steel handwheel
to allow minimal heat sink for safe manual
operation. The handwheel is available with an
optional locking device (manual or magnetic)
and/or proximity sensor options. The valve
is fitted with an optical position indicator,
seal adjuster and stroke limiter as standard
to prolong diaphragm life or the setting of
chosen flowrates. The GEMÜ 653/654 is
designed according to GMP, SIP/CIP and
Autoclave capable, depending on the version
with surface finishes down to 0.25 μm and
electropolished options.
