DISPLAY AT PACKAGING INNOVATIONS 2020
Processing and manufacturing professionals
will have the opportunity to get hands on
with the future of packaging technology
when Packaging Innovations 2020 returns to
Birmingham’s NEC on 26 & 27 February.
PRODUCT LAUNCHES
The show, which is co-located with Ecopack,
Contract Pack & Fulfilment, Empack, and
Label&Print, will showcase solutions for use
across the supply chain and will welcome
over 300 suppliers, many of which will be
launching their latest innovations to the UK
market.
For instance, Yorkshire Packaging Systems
will launch its Pizza Capping Solutions which
utilise film that is OPRL approved and fully
recyclable to LDPE level 4.
Sollas will showcase its auto wrapping
machinery for products such as cartons. The
technology utilises heat-sealable film, paper,
and eco-friendly materials to create high
quality presentation finishes.
Automated Packaging Systems will present its
range of flexible packaging systems including
the Autobag® bagging machines and pre-
opened bags-on-a-roll, which have been
designed to allow flexibility and optimise
throughput.
Liberty Packaging Systems will also join the
show with its series of equipment for shrink
wrapping, including semi-automatic and
automatic varieties to suit individual needs.
SHOW FEATURES
Alongside the busy exhibition floor,
Packaging Innovations will present an
engaging seminar programme which will
gather industry experts to share inspiration
and insights that visitors can apply to their
own packaging concepts.
Making its debut, the BIG Carbon Debate will
unpick the challenges of creating truly eco-
friendly packaging with topics of discussion
including convenience vs sustainability and
carbon neutral targets.
The show will also host a series of sector-
specific forums, with specially curated content
on offer for a range of industries including
food, drink, pharmaceutical, beauty, and
e-commerce.
For those looking for further inspiration, the
show will present several interactive features
including the Innovation Showcase which
will display 12 of the most cutting-edge
designs from the exhibition floor. The ground-
breaking solutions will compete for the
coveted prize of ‘Most Innovative Pack’, which
is voted for by visitors.
