and sits alongside further investments in
a new 200 tonne 4 metre hydraulic press
and PV solar panel installation to generate
electricity for its manufacturing plant.

Stainless steel heat transfer product
manufacturer Fabdec has demonstrated its
commitment to innovation by investing in
a state-of-the-art laser welder, the first of its
kind in the UK.
The purchase of the Pillowplate laser welding
system will allow Fabdec to increase capacity
and manufacture both standard and bespoke
heat exchanger plates up to 2 metres wide
by 7 metres long for dairy, brewery, winery &
other process industries that require cooling,
heating and heat recovery applications.
This investment marks a period of expansion
for Fabdec following strong annual results

steel heat transfer products since 1960,
manufacturing a range of products across the
water heating, dairy and brewery sectors.

tanks up to 50,000 litres; have their patented

been based in Ellesmere for 59 years, where
all research, design and manufacturing are
undertaken to create bespoke systems for
