Wanner announces new Hydra-
Cell heavy duty, high pressure,
multi-diaphragm seal-less pump No Problem Metering
Non-lubricating Liquids with
Hydra-Cell
Wanner has launched the Hydra-Cell® T200
Series Medium Pressure, multi-diaphragm pump
range, which in terms of flow rate and pressure
are the highest performing pumps in the
Hydra-Cell range and the biggest pumps ever
produced by the Company. They feature a seal-
less design that eliminates leaks, hazards and
the expense associated with seals and packing;
lowering the cost of ownership and giving a
longer service life than competitive pumping
technologies. There are two models, currently,
in the T200 Series, rated at 207 bar (3000 psi)
and 241 bar (3500 psi) with maximum flows of
387 l/min (102.2 US gpm) and 349 l/min (92.4
US gpm) respectively. The new pumps are ideal
for oil and gas production, mining operations,
boiler feed and high-pressure cleaning, along
with chemical and petrochemical process and
transfer applications. Hydra-Cell API 675 Metering Pumps have
solved a problem for one of the world’s largest
suppliers of polyurethane automotive foams
The external gear pump used to pump non-
lubricating, water-based catalyst were prone
to wear, exhibited low efficiency and caused
unacceptable high shear within the product.
Hydra-Cell API 675 diaphragm Metering Pumps,
with their inherently low shear pumping
action, provided the ideal solution to the
problems. Since the application could not risk
contamination by the hydraulic fluid, extensive
testing with Mesamoll® oil, was conducted
before a Hydra-Cell Metering Solutions model
P200 was installed for evaluation. This first P200
pump performed exceptionally well, eliminating
the low-efficiency, high-shear, and non-
lubricating pumping problems. Hydra-Cell P200
pumps are steadily replacing the gear pumps on
the customer’s systems installed in automotive
plants around the world.

Pump Vibration Monitoring
Pumps are crucial components of many
processes across most industrial applications.
Vibration monitoring is a cost-effective way to
maintain pump and overall machine health,
minimize downtime and reduce operating costs.
Key indicators of pump health are, Balance,
Alignment, Cavitation, Vane pass frequency,
Bearing health.
Our range of 4-20mA loop powered sensors
provide an economical means, when connected
to a monitoring system such as a plant PLC,
DCS or SCADA system, to continuously monitor
your pumps. Trending this vibration data over a
period of time will give you an early indication
of the pumps health which can then be
investigated further.

on their important home market,
HMD Kontro Sealless Pumps have
returned Robert Watling, also
known by his nickname Spring,
to the key Sales Manager role for
the UK and Ireland. In particular,
Robert is to represent the compa-
ny in the important chemical and
industrial market sectors, also a
renewed focus for the company.
Robert has over thirty years’ expe-
rience with magnetic drive pumps
from HMD Kontro, much of it
spent representing the company
in the UK and in other European,
American Asian and Chinese
markets. He will work closely with
HMD Kontro’s Channel Partners
for these sectors, AVT Pump (UK)
and CPI Technology (Ireland).
HMD Kontro are also improving
response times, for both new
pumps and spare parts, where
required, by making a significant
investment in component stock,
which will allow faster delivery
times for pumps used by the
chemical and industrial process
industries.
