AUTOMECHANIKA SHOW PREVIEW
NEW INITIATIVES
AUTOMECHANIKA
INNOVATION KEY THEME OF
AUTOMECHANIKA BIRMINGHAM 2019
Automechanika Birmingham has announced
that “Innovation” will be the leading theme
for the 2019 event, held at Birmingham NEC
on 4 to 6 June. Aftermarket Power Network and ‘The Big UK
Garage Event’, as well as the Future Mobility
& Innovation Hub, all designed to deliver an
enhanced visitor experience. Following extensive Automechanika
Birmingham research, “new technology and
innovation” were key reasons to attend the
event for visitors and so Automechanika
is looking to build on this by highlighting
all innovation from within the automotive
industry. “2019 is the last year before the show goes
biennial, so there has been a surge in the
number of space bookings to ensure the
latest products, services and technology are
showcased to the market before 2021.”
This is all in addition to the automotive
industry’s largest seminar programme, which
will feature seminars across Aftermarket
and Vehicle Production sectors, comprising
both business and technical advice and
information. In addition, the visitor campaign is off to a
record start with pre-registrations up thanks
to the new features and initiatives, designed
to offer the very best visitor and exhibitor
experience.
This year’s event will see the launch of many
new points of interest covering all aspects of
the automotive industry, including: A new
Bodyshop Zone, Aftermarket Innovation
Showcase, Remanufacturing Showcase, Jack Halliday, Event Director of
Automechanika Birmingham, explains: “We’ve
experienced a high demand from companies
wanting to exhibit that will really boost the
appeal for visitors coming along this year. With the number of registrations having
already exceeded targets, there are currently
over 2,000 visitors who have signed up to
attend the event, including more motor
factors and garages, an increase of 21%
compared to this time last year.
