The railway was undertaking extensive renovation of their equipment and needed a solution to help them bring their water hose system up to date, allowing them to move water from the water holding tower to the engine water tank faster and with less effort. Rotaflow donated a 3” twin sealed 316L stainless steel flanged swivel joint to help them achieve this. The Rotaflow swivel joint has been installed on the hose arm that fills up the water tank on the steam engines. It allows the newly refurbished hose arm to rotate easily from the water tower out over the engine, making the job of filling the water tanks significantly quicker than before. The swivel joint donation from Rotaflow means that getting the water tanks full and the train moving is a much easier job, reducing technician time and helping get the train moving in a lot less time! www.rotaflow.com LABTEX Stand number C4.
