GEARS, DRIVES & MOTORS
THE UNIVERSITY OF WARSAW ROVER TEAM
The University of Warsaw’s Rover Team of
which British Encoder Products is one of their
proud sponsors recently posted their results
from the University Rover Challenge.
They said :-
“A week ago, the University Rover Challenge
ended. The PCz Rover Team won, Missouri S&T
Mars Rover Design Team finished 2nd and the
Mars Rover Kielce “impuls” team was third.
We’ve managed to take the 8th position, so
we’re getting better! (last year - 16th)
In the task where we had to service a lander’s
control panel we scored the best of all teams.
In the astronaut assistance task, despite heavy
technical problems, only 4 competitors got a
better result than us.
Unfortunately our road to podium was
blocked by weaker scores in the two other
tasks.
We don’t stop in our activities and continue
preparations for the next competitions - the
Canadian International Rover Challenge in
August and the European Rover Challenge in
September.
British Encoder Products are proud to be
one of the sponsors of this great team and
wish them all the best for their upcoming
challenges.
