Cynergy3 are now launching a brand new
range of wireless pressure transmitters and
receivers. Based on the popular IPS (Industrial
grade) and IPSL (low range) series of pressure
sensors, the key benefit of wireless is to avoid
long, tortuous or expensive cable runs over
larger areas. The transmitters can have a
range of up to 750m, and can communicate
with either a single-channel or, for multi-
measurement systems, five-channel receivers.
With plug and play functionality, setting up the
equipment is quick and easy to do, and free
configuration software is available for more
complex systems.

cost, battery operated PurgEye 100, designed

Services

One company benefiting from NPL’s services is
Chesterfield based Precision Products UK, who
Manufacture piston rings for the commercial
marine industry, and report a major
improvement in productivity after working on
an industrial Project with the NPL.
NPL were initially able to assess and then
improve the capability of measurement using
a DMAIC approach to establish the cause and
effect relationships within the plating process.

Elesa non-contact magnetic
measuring system
speeds machinery processes –
adds precision
Elesa’s MPI-15 magnetic measuring system
allows precise alignment and positioning of
workpieces so reducing time of machinery
processes to a minimum, saving costs and
speeding the whole production cycle. The
MPI-15 combined with magnetic band is easy
to install and features an easy to read digital
display enabling operators to accurately read
out linear or angular displacements.
The MPI-15 measuring system, made of a LCD
multifunction display with built-in magnetic
position sensor, when combined with the
magnetic band M-BAND-10 is a complete
system for the measurement of linear and
angular displacement (with a minimum radius
of 65mm).
