The UK Gasket & Sealing
Association (UKGSA) is
celebrating its 25th Anniversary.
Formerly known as the Gasket Cutters
Association (GCA), the network is still going
strong with members from across the UK’s
gasket and sealing industries.
Established in 1993, the aims of the
Association remain the same:
• to represent the specialised interests of
companies engaged in the conversion of
materials into gaskets and seals;
• to facilitate the exchange of information
and ideas between members and those
with whom they have commercial and
professional dealings; and
• to highlight new developments or methods.
The UKGSA organises a number of technical
visits, networking events and social events

Water treatment unit added to
Andrews’ hire fleet
Andrews Sykes are delighted to be introducing
a new filtration unit which has been designed
to provide a fast and efficient solution in
instances where clients require a temporary
boiler accompanied by a fully functional
energy centre.
The unit features a water softening facility
with a dirt and air separator, in addition to
side stream filtration capabilities and a system
dosing unit. It can even offer completed
boosted mains cold water services across a
broad spectrum of applications.
This product can deliver up to 8 bar of
continuous water pressure, ensuring multi-
storey buildings and high-rise flats can still
reap the benefits of a normal water supply.
An external water tank can be installed
in conjunction with an Andrews boiler,
guaranteeing minimal site space is required
even on multi megawatt projects.

lightweight, easy to maintain full face mask at
only 365g with a completely clear panoramic
visor to maximise light levels within the mask
