NEW BLUETOOTH DP TRANSMITTER FROM VEGA
The VEGADIF 85 differential pressure transmitter offers a host of user benefits based around ease of use, productivity, safety and reliability.
It makes set up and operation simpler – whether locally in the head via push buttons, magnetic pen or remote: as the first DP transmitter to feature Bluetooth encrypted technology, it can be set up from a safe, convenient location; using either Smartphone, Tablet or PC and / or via traditional HART Handheld.
For safety related applications it features EIC 61508 SIL2 / 3 conformance for peace of mind. VEGADIF 85 has integrated independent static pressure measurement for enhanced accuracy and stability – ideal for flow applications.
This static pressure measurement can be output as a second process variable for total system pressure.
As part of the plics ® system from VEGA, it shares common features with all other transmitters in the range; universal programmer, multiple housings, easy set up and a variety of communication options: 4-20mA( twin 4-20mA), HART, Profibus and Foundation Fieldbus. To complete a range of flexible
MEASUREMENT & MONITORIING
differential pressure solutions, it partners VEGABAR 80 series e-DP systems for complete versatility and capability for flow, level, density corrected level, pressure, density measurement, interface and many other applications.
The VEGA pressure range is comprehensive, competitively priced, with a choice of measuring cells and certifications, with easier, faster installation, and a quick 3-day delivery for standard options with a 3 year warranty. For a live demo or trial, please contact VEGA.

MEASUREMENT & MONITORING
BEST VALUE SOLUTIONS FOR PROCESS FLOW MEASUREMENTS
PROCESS INTEGRITY PRESERVED BY NON- INVASIVE ULTRASONIC FLOWMETER
MEASUREMENT & MONITORIING
Liquid flow measurement in Process industry applications can present varied and challenging requirements and Micronics has had 35 years of experience in providing cost-effective and reliable solutions for applications in various industries including Nuclear Power, Dairy, Food Processing and the Semi-conductor industry.
There are many process liquid flows, which require a noninvasive measurement: to avoid contamination of the liquid, because of the corrosive nature of the liquid or to make ongoing servicing and maintenance easier, where this presents a challenge due to the location or critical nature of the process. In full pipe applications clamp-on, ultrasonic flow measurement is often the best solution and Micronics is the longest established UK manufacturer in this technology with a wide range of portable instrument and fixed measurement, metering products backed up by previous application experience and technical support.
Titan Enterprises announces MetraFlow ®- an exciting new addition to the company’ s expanding ultrasonic flowmeter range.
The new MetraFlow ultrasonic flowmeter from Titan Enterprises incorporates a chemically resistant Perfluoralkoxy Alkane( PFA) tube onto which are mounted high sensitivity ultrasonic sensors.
There are no dead areas, changes in fluid direction or obstructions, just a tube. As a result- MetraFlow can make non-intrusive flow measurements preserving the cleanliness of your process.
Applications including drug production, electronic device creation, medical research and food manufacture, require that a flowmeter has no inclusions or dead areas as this can lead to contamination issues for the liquids used in these processes.

Micronics has a wide range of Process application experience including oils, paint and water solutions, acid, paper industry slurry and a wide range of both clean and dirty water applications for full, partial pipe and open channel flows. This includes products using Ultrasonic Doppler, Transit Time and the latest Microwave technology.
However, we recognise that clamp-on is not the only solution and so in areas such as Waste Water monitoring and metering to challenge back to sewer allowances or comply with Effluent licence requirements we can supply a cost effective in-line solution using an advanced range of Microwave products.
So if you need to measure or monitor process liquids, water or waste water flow in your industry we believe we have the solution.
