HANLEY TECHNOLOGY LEAK
AND FLOW TEST INSTRUMENTS
Modern manufacturing
materials often have low
surface energy which results in
poor bonding or print finishing.
Enercon’s Blown Ion and Arc
Plasma Technology deliver
a highly effective treatment
for these surfaces prior to
bonding with adhesives and
the application of coatings and
inks.
Plasma treatment bombards
the surface of materials such as
metals, plastics and glass with
a high-speed discharge of ions
to clean, etch and functionalise
them. This treatment removes
contaminants and increases the
surface energy which improves
bonding, printing and cleaning.
Enercon’s Blown Ion and
Arc Plasma Treaters have a
higher output giving higher
processing speeds and are
ideal for use on most surfaces,
both have the option to run
multiple heads. The wider head
of the Blown Arc gives broader
coverage, whereas the fine
nozzle of the Blown Ion treater
makes it ideal in difficult to
reach recesses. Both can be
integrated with robotics for
applications requiring precise
treatment.
Enercon is a global leader in
Plasma Surface Treatment
with over 30 years’ experience
across a range of industries. We
have application engineering
expertise to prove process
capability and support new
installations on-site.
