Unleashing a new world of
possibilities - launching the
FCP4 High Production Drill
Grinder that can produce a
completed drill in 20 seconds
A new entry to the market, the High
Production Drill Grinder will service the high-
volume commodity drill market typically used
by tradespeople and handymen.
ANCA is again first to market with the
FCP4 High Production Drill Grinder (FCP4).
Producing drills from 0.8 to 4mm the new
technology provides an exciting opportunity
for drill makers, with important efficiencies
and cost benefits by manufacturing a
complete high speed steel drill on a single
machine. From a blank piece of raw material,
the FCP4 grinds the Flute, Relief and Point
producing a finished drill.

Fiber Optics For Secure IIoT
The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is here.
[See Fiber and the Industrial IoT].
In industrial environments, fiber-optic trans-
mission provides outstanding network secu-
rity and reliability. Transmitting monitoring
and control signals over a private fiber-optic
circuit protects sensitive traffic against the
vulnerabilities of the public Internet.
Snoopers and hackers may tap copper lines,
but fiber connections cannot be tapped
without breaking the circuit. Most industrial
devices offer an external access port—serial
RS-232/485/422, Ethernet, or GPI/O. When
connecting to a fiber network you’ll need an
interface converter that transforms the elec-
trical representation of the ones and zeroes
into to an optical (light) signal stream.
