Lindapter Fixings Saved
Time for Amey’s Waste
Management Plant
The self-adjusting Type AAF clamps allowed
the contractors to quickly align and secure the
galvanised structural steel beams and brackets
to galvanised steel sections, which vary in size
and thickness throughout the new solid waste
incinerator operated by Amey Plc.
Lindapter Girder Clamps provided a faster
alternative to on-site drilling and welding,
which reduced labour costs and work at
height. It also avoided time consuming
galvanisation touch-ups needed to repair the
damage that would have been caused by drills
and torches.
