Dixon – Exhibiting at
PPMA 16 Show
D
ixon are pleased to be
exhibiting again this year
and are looking forward
to showing visitors the
extensive range of hygienic process
e uipment i on offers F
and
approved stainless steel fittings,
unions, tube, pumps and valves for
the food, dairy, beverage and brewery
industries.
Dixon will be showcasing their range of
hygienic fittings and actuated valves on
a stainless steel fabricated display and
new table stand engineered and built
from their product range; along with a
carousel of hygienic hoses assemblies
offering odourless and taste free
properties suitable for li uid foodstuffs
Dixon’s hygienic hose range includes a
range of rubber, silicone,
and
F
hose assemblies which can be custom
made to exact requirements with
accessories including wash down guns
and steam lances.
Also on show will be the newly
launched Hygienic Breakaway Check
alve, hich is proving to be the

PECM Issue 22
right connection’, potentially saving
companies thousands.
Launched last year the new Dixon
reaka ay heck alve is an
innovative solution that is designed
to eliminate product loss too. It
incorporates the Breakaway Coupling
and a ygienic heck alve t acts
as a single unit that has a diverted
breaking point which will break at a
determined break-load. Then the check
valve will close protecting the loading
bay pipe system AND avoiding product
spillage.
The breakaway check valve is only
one of the bespoke valves recently
produced by Dixon. With an on-site
valve actuation shop, 3D design,
full technical and sales back-up and
BSI approved manufacturing and
engineering department, Dixon can
design and produce individual bespoke
valves and fabricated configurations to
uickly and efficiently solve customer
problems.
Dixon’s Hygienic Product Manager will
also be available on the stand each day
to talk about correct valve selection,
the effects of valve selection to your
bottom line, eliminating contamination
risk and new innovations in valve
technology.
By choosing the correct design and
specification of valve for a process
can save costs, reduce downtimes
and minimise product loss or
contamination. Dixon can advise on
factors including the most effective
seat material to the correct mounting
considerations of an actuator, which
can affect the ear and tear on a
valve and in turn create problems with
contamination and reduce a valve’s life
cycle
Come and see us to make the right
decision before your next valve
purchase.
