Theta Rho Omega Chapter Ruminations from the Retreat Sorors attending chapter retreat selected one commitment to personally work on. Listed below are those commitments. No names are listed but I believe that you will recognize the one that you signed as no word- ing has been changed. September’s meeting will be a chance to be reminded; for those not in attendance, September will also be a time for you to add your pledge to the list. In October we will consider how true to our word we have been .  Pause and think before speaking  Be true to your word  Respect others  I pledge to be more committed to being a better mentor.  Learn the names of all chapter sorors  Be on time for chapter meetings and activities  Respect everyone – embrace diversity  If you say it – do it.  Participate and support our service projects  Mentor with purpose and love (ongoing). Iron sharpens iron  Attend every chapter meeting that I can (consistently each month and to the very best of my ability)  Mentor with purpose – don’t say yes to a no response  I pledge to work on my mentoring and learn everyone’s name  Continue to support the chapter’s programs and partnerships  Fulfill commitments to targets and committees  Be kind to each other  Know members in the chapter  Speak to all sorors  Be open-minded  Participate in all/any chapter activities  Make the chapter your priority  See something- say something  If I see something – say something  Participate in all chapter activities  Work on a mentoring program for new members  Participate in as many chapter activities as possible  Get to know every member by name and something unique about them  See something – I will say something  Be a part of the solution to make the chapter better – not just complain
