On Being Grateful
Perhaps one of the most frequently asked questions is,
How are you? Usually people say : I’m Blessed, Good and
Getting Better, Fine, OK, and on and on. On the other
hand, some people will tell you much more than you ex-
pected to hear or really wanted to know.
When you are asked, How are you? try this answer: I’m
Grateful!
Now in reality you may be hurting, troubled, burdened or
afraid. However, there is always something that you can
be grateful for. For example: family, friends, sisterhood,
purpose in life, the love of our Lord and on and on. The
truth is rich, rich blessings are had by each one of us.
While it is still today, take a moment to let your heart fill
with gratitude for the blessings you have.
Sisterly,
Soror Fabienne Williams Neiman
