Theta Rho Omega Chapter and ASCEND Scholars Get 100%

The eleven Scholars from the ASCEND Program graduated from Thornwood High
on Sunday, May 21, 2017 with GPA’s of 4.0 or better. All scholars graduated with
honors. Soror Dorothy, the ASCEND Chairman stated, “The ASCEND Program
and the JESF Foundation — provides a platform, inspiration and tools for young
people to obtain the support necessary for success. Our Scholars are prepared to
design solutions to some of the world’s most critical problems by engaging in the
next level-higher education studies.”
The scholars expressed their appreciation of Theta Rho Omega Chapter members,
the workshop presenters, the backpacks, the snacks, the gift cards, and the
supporting words of encouragement.
Theta Rho Omega will celebrate our Scholars on Friday,
May 26, 2017 at Thornwood
High School commencing at
6:30pm in room 1256. All
Sorors are invited to come to
personally celebrate the
Scholars.
