As members of the Interact Club, we are currently engaged in a discussion on the work ability of a Financial Literacy and Consumer Awareness project. The main objectives of this programme will be to teach community helpers about money and its various functions besides building on their basic knowledge that will help them to make an informed choice as a consumer. Key points such as being able to have an income-expenditure statement, balancing expenses and opting for cost-effective solutions, writing cheques and so on.
