Latino Students and Parents/Guardians
Broaden support for creative passions and athletic talents Peak to Peak’s Spanish for Heritage-Speakers course is designed to
support students in achieving academic fluency in Spanish and transferring
literacy skills to other courses. The curriculum is rooted in cultural identity.
Envision financial solutions to overcome financial barriers to college
attendance and completion The Latino Student Union includes bilingual students from across grade
levels who meet regularly in support of one another and the community.
Expand and integrate opportunities for K-12 collaboration
Peak to Peak partners with the Colorado Statewide Parent Coalition
to train and support parent/guardian ambassadors who are part
of a leadership team. Trained participants actively reach out to
our Latino community to ensure families know how to best
support their children as students at Peak to Peak.
