Peak Employee Benefits Process Guide 1 | Page 3

1. Introduction Workplace benefits are valued by employees and have traditionally been offered to around half of the UK workforce who work for the larger employers. Workplace benefits, particularly those that operate on a basis known as salary-sacrifice, are also valued by employers as the cost of implementing a centralised system can be mitigated or even eliminated through National Insurance savings. At Peak Employee Benefits we have developed a system to help smaller employers (who employ between them the other half of the UK workforce) to implement and manage a range of valuable and valued workplace benefits for their employees without the hassle of having to do so through multiple systems and processes. The Peak Employee Benefits system allows employers to make available multiple workplace benefits for their employees, some of which operate on a salary-sacrifice basis. Our secure online portal is also an information and communication system that employees interact directly and individually with so employers do not have to become experts in the products they offer. We have gone to great lengths to make the setting up and running of a whole system of workplace benefits as easy as possible. 3
