Beantown Baby Diaper Bank
It all started when Rachel Segaloff learned about a local diaper bank in Waltham , MA , that would accept unopened baby formula samples . While donating the product she learned about the diaper need in the community . Unable to imagine not having an adequate supply of diapers for her own baby , she wanted to help make sure other families in the area had enough clean diapers .
Rachel says , “ I ran my first diaper drive at my kids ’ childcare center in 2012 , then I asked other local childcare centers to organize drives too . After running at least 40 in five years , I realized that I wasn ’ t going to slow down and in fact I wanted to ramp up diaper distributions .”
