Editor’s Page Summer is here and with it bountiful blooms and farmers’ markets over- flowing with produce. The tempera- ture has heated up quickly, but I still love the lazy days of summer when the kids sleep in and the pace slows down. When the blooms open up, you know it is summer in the South. Our feature city is the Ponte Vedra/Jacksonville area. Situated on the Atlantic coast of Florida, Ponte Vedra with its moss-filled trees and clipped hedges is the epitome of Southern charm. It reminds me of all the summers at the beach I spent with my family, cousins and of course Peachy. We searched for sea shells, made sandcastles, played in the waves and hunted for crabs at night. Days were long and glorious! I am thrilled to feature the beauti- ful garden designed by Judy Drake and Gerry Crouch of Sunscapes. The landscaping boasts a refined planting
