Summer is here and with it bountiful
blooms and farmers’ markets over-
flowing with produce. The tempera-
ture has heated up quickly, but I still
love the lazy days of summer when the
kids sleep in and the pace slows down.

We couldn’t resist using the fabulous
hydrangeas from our entertaining
photo shoot. When the blooms open
up, you know it is summer in the
South. Our feature city is the Ponte
Vedra/Jacksonville area. Situated on
the Atlantic coast of Florida, Ponte
Vedra with its moss-filled trees and
clipped hedges is the epitome of
Southern charm. It reminds me of
all the summers at the beach I spent

Peachy. We searched for sea shells,
made sandcastles, played in the waves
and hunted for crabs at night. Days
were long and glorious!
