As we all know, trends and fads
typically mimic something we have
seen in the past. By tweaking it
slightly and putting a modern twist
on it, our favorite fashion and hairstyles are frequently resurrected.
Well, I have good news for all you
80s babes: perms are back, and they
are back with a vengeance.
After a solid 20 years of being primarily reserved for our sweet blue-haired
little old ladies, modern perming techniques are now being used on women
of all ages. Now let me be clear, this
is not the 80s perm that I am sure you
are imagining right now. These are
brand new techniques that can create any type of curl—from Beyoncé’s
voluminous afro to that perfect naturally tousled beach wave.
