turned to her first love of
gardening and joined Big
Red Sun Austin as owner
and a designer. Julie

Because a garden is a living entity, to be successful
its design must consider
all aspects of how the
garden will be used,
perceived and cared for.

I have a 15-month old,
so I only get to eat out at
lunch. Our studio is on
the East Side, so my favorite haunts are “east-ish.”
