I am so grateful for the incredible
response we have had to the launch
of Peachy the Magazine!

PEACHY
Growing up in Austin, it was easy for
my sister and me to visit Peachy in
Dallas. She introduced us into the
world of the arts. Peachy would take
us to the Dallas Museum of Art to see
new exhibits and treated us to the oncein-a-lifetime performance of Mikhail
Baryshnikov dancing the lead in the
Bolshoi Ballet. It was truly amazing.
Peachy lived in Dallas for over 50 years,
so this city is near and dear to my heart.
Our contributors have sought out
intriguing topics and venues for our
Dallas issue. We feature style with
the uber-chic store 4510, a wonderful
shoot on FM Provisions’ farm, a brilliant article on museums as art, On the
Go with Jan Strimple, a peek into the
exquisite Sands garden, tips for places
to eat and stay and much more.
Peachy had a fabulous garden with
peonies, azaleas, clipped hedges, and
a runnel (or as we called it, a moat)
where we floated leaves and paper
boats. When I spoke to the gals at
Gardenuity about their mission of a
garden inspired living with soy candles,
clever bulb bags, and educational
