THE ESSENTIALS: Begin with cleanser, ideally gentle and soap-free. Avoid
scrubbing and excessive exfoliating. Your face is not the floor. Be gentle to
the skin you are in! It’s not necessary to sand blast the face daily with gritty
scrubs, electric brushes, chemical peels and microdermabrasion.
SUNSCREEN: Look for a spray or gel with UVA/UVB protection, alone or
combined with moisturizer.
MOISTURIZER: Consider the new oil moisturizers. Oil bases absorb quickly
and don’t leave the skin tacky. They provide a dewy finish. Don’t forget to
moisturize the face, neck, chest, hands and décolletage.
MAKE-UP: Think barely there and understated. Choose foundations that are
light, sheer and forgiving. Lightweight foundations applied where needed
