The Peachy team recently had the
pleasure of touring the Urban Electric
Company’s plant in Charleston. Although
the gloomy sky and torrential downpour
darkened the city outside, Urban Electric
lit up the inside, making it all the easier
to see what makes it so special.
The Urban Electric Company was
established 10 years ago to fill a need in
the market for high quality, Americanmade lighting with an elevated and

aesthetic design. Its distinguished design,
heirloom quality and impeccable service
has propelled it into one most recognized
lighting companies in the world. Every
fixture is made and finished by hand
at its corporate headquarters and production studio in Charleston.
We watched as a master craftsman
created each light with patience and
precision; the attention to detail is
