’ Tis the season !

TThe winter holidays are a wonderful time to host an intimate gathering for friends or family . A table for four or six allows a host to serve prepared plates , a special treat in a season traditionally filled with cocktail nibbles or passed dishes . It ’ s the perfect time to share favorite recipes — the mushroom toasts and charred green beans with beets are favorites in my family .

This Charleston , SC , business was inspired by founder Stephanie Summerson Hall ’ s grandmother , Estelle , who loved antiquing and often added to her own colored glass collection during her weekly treasure hunts .
