My go-to is a spicy curry chicken that can be made ahead and an Asian salad that will satisfy even the pickiest eaters. It is a favorite meal during the holidays and throughout the year. I love having something that always gets rave reviews—everyone enjoys it. SETTING THE TABLE A simple table setting is always beautiful and can be used for a pre-holiday meal or Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers by using pumpkins for Thanksgiving and adding pinecones and holly for Christmas. When we have guests for a few days, it is nice to have a base table set. Then I can enlist the help of family and friends to get creative and take the table settings up a notch for the actual holiday. HOLIDAY 2018 49
