Animal prints are my perennial favorite and
this year is no exception! So glad it was finally
chilly enough to wear a coat.

I love the holidays! Now that I have a
daughter away in college, I anticipate
them even more and can’t wait for her
to come home. A few years back, we
started having Thanksgiving with two
or three of our great family friends and
any extended family that is in town. It
is a little bit of a zoo, but the kids love
it, and many helping hands make light
work. As Peachy loved to say, “It’s all
about making memories.”
Since many of us have family and
friends coming in for the holidays,
Tamberlyn, our entertaining editor,
has pulled together a dinner that you
can make ahead. When your guests
arrive, you can relax and enjoy the
company. The chicken curry is deli-
cious on a cold winter night, and the
red velvet cake is divine. Tamberlyn
sent half of it home with me after
our Peachy photo shoot—I had it for
breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was a
splurge week!
