I am so thrilled to be featuring the beautiful town of Aspen in our current issue . I can ’ t say enough about the breathtaking views , fabulous hikes and stunning flowers . I was also thrilled to connect with architect Jamie Brewster McLeod and landscape architect Mike Albert . Both projects that we spotlight are truly stunning .

Our Gardens feature , Highlands Retreat , sits at an elevation of 8,000 feet just a few miles out of town . It boasts towering aspens , mountainous terrain and thoughtful , indigenous plantings . The home and grounds are beautifully integrated with the surroundings and are an award-winning example of holistic mountain design .
We also share a mountain estate on a nearby river . The contemporary home seamlessly incorporates river views and exterior spaces into the interior design and uses organic materials to create a tranquil escape .
