My husband and I lived in Boston
while he was getting his graduate
degree. We didn’t have kids yet, so
on the weekends we explored the city
and the surrounding areas. I remember
driving out to Cape Cod and thinking
how beautiful everything was. I was
so surprised to see hydrangeas by the
ocean. Growing up in Texas, it was
palm trees and bougainvillea along
the Gulf of Mexico. Cape Cod is filled
with beautiful historic architecture and
cute little towns. I still am amazed by
the stunning gardens that burst into
bloom when the weather gets warm.
We have a wonderful fall issue.
Part-time residents of Cape Cod,
Whitney Ward and Tracy Dart (along
with Tracy’s sister Christi Pringle,
a frequent visitor), share their expert
selections on what to do while you
are visiting. They have some great
recommendations on where to eat,
stay, shop, and play on the Cape.
